At the close the day, Tennessee Highway Patrol officers arrested more than 40 of the BLM protesters in front of the Tennessee Capitol for allegedly trespassing. Black Rabbit is a true ode to old Nashville and the storied past of the historic Printer’s Alley neighborhood in which it resides. The space was once the law offices of Frank Ragano, legal counsel for Jimmy Hoffa and other notable figures of mafia notoriety, and is built around its intriguing history showing off foot ceilings, exposed brick and original hardwood flooring. We left many of the original details intact in order to preserve the old-school energy that was already abundant throughout the building.
Black Rabbit boasts a large bar, spacious banquettes and a living room area, while an adjacent exterior patio offers open-air seating. We also offer several weekly events and live entertainment.
